Cláudia Freitas (Setúbal, 1967) lives and works in Setúbal. Photography is the medium she uses to discover and understand better places and their relationship with contemporary life.

Cláudia Freitas (Setúbal, 1967) lives and works in Setúbal. Photography is the medium she uses to discover and understand better places and their relationship with contemporary life.
Studied photography at the Portuguese Institute of Photography in Lisbon (2010-2012), completed a postgraduate degree in art curation at FCSH-Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2019).
She founded and runs Lapso Gallery, located in Setúbal, Portugal, since 2019. Lapso is an independent space dedicated to the dissemination, commercialisation and enjoyment of contemporary art, namely photography.
Her work as a photographer has been shown and disseminated through the internet, author editions and exhibitions.
